Attention is given to how a dialogical approach can be effective for evangelism and discipleship, how coaching can be expressed in the ministries of a local church, and the relationship between coaching competencies and Christian practices.

Planters are fundraisers, recruiters, communicators, and more. In this course, we will cover a variety of coaching models and skills specific to coaching church planters and is laid out with the foundation of current church planting best practices in mind.

This mentor coaching process provides at least ten hours of mentor coaching – seven hours through a group coaching/supervision cohort and three hours of one-on-one feedback coaching. Depending on the number of registrations, GMC could include up to 11 group sessions. Participation in all group sessions is expected.

GMC is specifically intended to satisfy the mentor coaching requirement for ICF credentialing, prepare coaches for future program feedback and assessments, and provide quality feedback geared toward coaching strengths and growth opportunities.
