This 16-hour ICF approved course helps give you a major upgrade in how you communicate, lead, and relate, consider CAM 501: Foundations for Christian Coaching. This is an interactive course where you will have the opportunity to practice and receive growth-oriented feedback. You will finish the course ready and able to use coaching at a basic level. Topics include: core coaching skills a coaching conversation model the biblical basis for coaching how coaching is distinct from counseling and mentoring how you can use coaching in their ministries or workplace. CAM 502: Establishing A Dynamic Coaching Relationship
This 16-hour ICF-accredited course is essential for every coach — whether your aim is a professional coaching practice or to establish coaching relationships within your ministry or professional role. It will show you how to develop a solid professional coaching relationship. Topics include: The ethics and standards every coach must meet. How to support the client to orient around areas of strengths and high-performance patterns. Basics for establishing a coaching practice. Contracting for results. CAM 503: Coaching through Change, Transition, and Transformation
Coaching is all about change. However, not all change is the same, and coaches need to be able to support three types of change: proactive change, transitions, and deep transformation. This ICF course provides students the knowledge and skills necessary for coaching people and groups through change. Attention is given to understanding different types of change, how to support people going through transitions, and how to use coaching to initiate positive change. Topics include: The dynamics of change, transition, and transformation Models to navigate coaching in these areas The coaching skills and the coaching process to help people navigate through changes, transition, and transformation Increase effectiveness as a catalyst for transformation This class will be offered at a later time. CAM 508: Coaching for Spiritual Growth (Online Sessions)
This course provides you the knowledge and skills necessary to apply coaching to faith conversations so you can use coaching to support people moving closer to God and deeper in their commitment to Christ. The course introduces several spiritual growth models and coaching frameworks that support spiritual growth as well as insights on how to apply coaching informally and in challenging conversations. Attention is given to how a dialogical approach can be effective for evangelism and discipleship, how coaching can be expressed in the ministries of a local church, and the relationship between coaching competencies and Christian practices. Topics include: • Understand and appreciate coaching as an evangelism and discipleship relationship. • Use coaching skills and the coaching process to help people move forward in faith commitments. • Increase effectiveness as a catalyst for discipleship and evangelism. • Develop your own framework in your own context. CAM 513: Coaching Church Planters
This 16-hour ICF-accredited course is essential for every coach who desires to coach church planters. Coaching church planters has its own distinctions. Planters are fundraisers, recruiters, communicators, and more. In this course, we will cover a variety of coaching models and skills specific to coaching church planters and is laid out with the foundation of current church planting best practices in mind.
